Our Finovate presentation video is now up at CUneXus.com! Watch as co-founders Dave Buerger and John Reich introduce a crowd of over 1,400 attendees in San Jose, CA to AutoXpress, our latest addition to the cplXpress product suite. The 7-minute demo takes place within the mobile banking app of our newest client-partner, Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU)—the largest credit union in New England and first to implement AutoXpress.
The AutoXpress toggle can be turned on in cplXpress, allowing lenders the ability to present real-time inventory from thousands of auto dealerships nationwide within a Financial Institution’s (FI) existing online and mobile banking platforms. The “Find My Car” button is part of the FI’s single-sign-on and is paired with a pre-approved offer of credit, helping FIs realize the benefit of higher loan acquisition. FIs also have the option to present auto insurance offers from our new partner CoverHound, plus mobile push notifications from partner MobileRQ.

Our Newest Partner: MeridianLink
We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with MeridanLink to further integrate their popular loan origination system, LoansPQ®, with the CUneXus cplXpress pre-approved lending automation platform. This connection will provide CUneXus’ bank and credit union clients end-to-end consumer lending automation capabilities at all physical and digital banking touchpoints.
Our current credit card integration with MeridianLink was developed while completing a custom system integration for $10 billion California-based Golden 1 Credit Union. Once complete, the combined solution proved highly-successful and the benefit of expanding our LoansPQ® integration to include all loan types was clear.
Financial Institutions (FI) are adopting online lending strategies at a rapid rate—especially in the mobile channel—creating a greater need for connectivity between their online lending platform and their loan origination system. Meet Tony Salamone, VP of Client Services
Our greatest priority is to take care of our clients, and as the number of clients has grown, we’ve come to the point where we need more resources to deliver the kind of service we can be proud of. Fortunately, we’ve found a like-minded Financial Technology pro, Tony Salamone, who joins CUneXus Solutions as Vice President of Client Services. Tony shares our “customer first” approach to all we do—from product design and development, through the sales process, all the way to the end user.
Tony is a 25-year veteran of the financial services industry, most recently serving as the Senior Vice President of US Payments Product Management at Fundtech/D+H where he focused on customer experience. He also established systems to build client feedback into the product development process. Prior to Fundtech, Tony spent 10 years as Vice President of Product Management for the Client Access division at JP Morgan Chase. He also represented financial institutions on the Federal Reserve Bank Advisory Board for new regulations.

What’s on Tap: Stone IPA
We’re sticking to the map of California for our beer this month, but taking it down south to San Diego County’s Stone IPA. This is the first beer we ever had on tap at the CUneXus office a year ago, and it’s a good one for the season.
As Stone describes it, “This golden beauty explodes with citrusy, piney hop flavors and aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character.” We agree—this perfectly crisp beer will be excellent for the upcoming hot summer days!
