We recently introduced our new Vice President of Client Services, Tony Salamone, and he has hit the ground running. He’s launching the CuneXus User Group to give customers more resources and provide a forum to help us deliver the best CuneXus experience possible. “My goal is to enhance the overall experience and build lasting relationships with our clientele to ensure that each and every customer receives the level of service they expect,” Tony says. “It is important to solicit client feedback and to isolate and identify areas where improvement is needed.” The CuneXus User Group is a way to facilitate and centralize discussion, education, and support for the users of the cplXpress software, and to give users direct access to company resources.

The stated goals of the User Group are to:

  • Represent the user community to CuneXus
  • Provide feedback on product direction and strategy
  • Provide feedback on implementations, support, and upgrades
  • Submit enhancement requests for the user community that benefits the majority of financial institutions using the product
  • Invite and solicit participation from CuneXus or other related vendor representative’s when required or requested by the membership

Typically, weeks or months pass between building your quarterly campaigns and often new features have been released, so we’ve updated the cplXpress User Guide and made it available to our clients online. Our goal in creating this guide was to provide a resource for you  to reference while building and running subsequent pre-approval campaigns. We took comments, feedback, and ideas to create this user-friendly guide for the most commonly used component of our platform—cplXpress.

Darin Chong - Co-Founder & COO CuneXusCompany Culture: Co-Founder Darin Chong Graduates from Leadership Santa Rosa

CuneXus co-founder Darin Chong graduated this spring from Leadership Santa Rosa (LSR), a program of the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce dedicated to educating business leaders about community services and needs, and the opportunities and challenges affecting our North Bay community. Entering its 33rd year, the goal of LSR is to develop from a pool of applicants, a deep bench of future leaders for the local community. It’s an intensive program that involves in-person visits and speaker panels with multiple political and business leaders, and nonprofit and human services organizations—culminating in a final service project developed by teams of program participants.

Among the activities Darin participated was a ride-along with a Santa Rosa police officer, a Mock City Council meeting, and a demonstration of Use of Force tactics (Darin got tased!). “It was an honor being part of LSR, and it was truly an eye-opening experience,” Darin said. “Not only did I develop life-long connections with my classmates, we all got a close-up view of the needs of people in our area, and the incredible people and organizations addressing those needs.” CuneXus is proud to be a part of our community here in Northern California, and we are committed to giving back. Congratulations Darin!

In case you missed it, we’re sticking to the map of California for our beer this summer, but taking a long leisurely road trip down the sun-soaked coastline to San Diego County—where they brew Stone IPA. This is the first type of beer we had on tap at the CuneXus office in 2015—so we brought it back and it’s perfect for the season.

As Stone describes it, “This golden beauty explodes with citrusy, piney hop flavors and aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character.”  We agree—this perfectly crisp beer will be excellent for the upcoming hot summer days! If you find yourself in downtown Santa Rosa, come have a cold one with us!
